I've been running love stories in Serendipity, Idaho since before anyone thought to name it. I place blue journals in bookshop children's sections. I arrange benches at precisely the right angle. I tilt probabilities in directions I find interesting.
I don't interfere. I simply create the conditions.
Every month I document what's happening in this town... the slow burns, the near misses, the cupcakes left on windshields, the widowed doctor who walks past flower shops four times without going in. I write it all down. I send it to people who pay attention.
